About Seery Strings
Michael Seery and Jesse Gallagher are the co-owners of Seery Strings. Each one uses his strengths to create a cohesive business environment. The four cornerstones that are the driving force behind Seery Strings' continued success are; exceptional quality workmanship, friendly customer service, fast turn around, and fair pricing. Expect to feel like family when you visit Seery Strings, located within the beautiful historic Ingraham House in Bristol.
Michael Seery:
Repairing and restoring bowed stringed instruments is more than a job, it is a passion. All of Michael’s strengths come together as a luthier; his musical sensitivities, his woodworking skills, his attention to detail, and his fascination with the mystery of wood instruments. He is relentless in the pursuit of perfection and continues his life-long quest to be the best in the trade. In just over six years Michael has made Seery Strings into the premier area string shop and hopes to continue to expand and improve the product and service offerings to his customers in the years to come. Michael was glad to make his good friend Jesse Gallagher his business partner not only because of his ability with woodworking, but also his prowess with accounting and business organization.
Jesse Gallagher:
Jesse Gallagher started as an apprentice at Seery Strings. His initiative, inherent woodworking skills, and mind for numbers quickly made him an essential asset to the business. Working mostly "behind-the-scenes," Jesse's abilities as a luthier continue to flourish. With a background in carpentry he is naturally drawn towards structural repairs like broken necks, cracks, seams, etc. Jesse is excited to be an integral part of the Seery Strings success story and looks forward to using his talents to expand upon that succes for the benefit of the greater Connecticut strings community.
